BREAKING:

Zimbabwe national cricket team is set to host Bangladesh national cricket team for a multi-format cricket tour scheduled for June and July.

The tour will include one Test match, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) as Zimbabwe continues its international cricket calendar following its recent ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign.

The Test match will be played at Harare Sports Club from June 28 to July 2. The venue will also host the three-match ODI series during the Bangladesh tour.

After the matches in Harare, the series will move to Bulawayo where the T20I fixtures will be played at Queens Sports Club.

The three T20 International matches are scheduled for July 15, July 17 and July 19.

The upcoming series will mark Zimbabwe’s first home assignment of the year following the team’s appearance at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year.

Zimbabwe reached the Super Eight stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, a performance widely viewed as one of the team’s notable achievements in recent international tournaments.

The Bangladesh series is expected to provide Zimbabwe with another opportunity to build momentum in both red-ball and white-ball cricket as the team continues to strengthen its squad depth and international competitiveness.

The multi-format nature of the tour will also allow both teams to test combinations across all formats ahead of future international commitments later in the year.

Cricket supporters in Harare and Bulawayo are expected to follow the series closely as Zimbabwe returns to home action against one of Asia’s established cricket nations.
