Yondo Sister Joins Salif Keita for Legends Night

Organisers of Ecobank Legends Night Africa have confirmed Congolese music star Yondo Sister as the latest international artiste to perform at this year’s concert, scheduled for September 26 in Harare.

Her announcement follows the recent confirmation of Malian music icon Salif Keita as one of the headline acts, adding to anticipation for what is expected to be one of Zimbabwe’s biggest live music events of the year.

Ecobank Legends Night Africa has established itself as one of Zimbabwe’s leading live music platforms by celebrating some of Africa’s most influential musicians and bringing legendary performers to local audiences.

Over the years, the concert series has built a reputation for showcasing celebrated African artistes while giving music lovers the opportunity to experience timeless classics performed live.

Widely known as the “Queen of Soukous,” Yondo Sister has earned continental recognition for her energetic kwassa kwassa performances, powerful vocals and an extensive catalogue of songs that have made her one of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s most celebrated female artistes.

Her addition is expected to strengthen an already impressive line-up led by Salif Keita, whose return to Zimbabwe has generated excitement among fans of African music.
