Hillary Makaya the recently appointed Brand Ambassador for Face of Kariba will in the next few days be visiting the resort town to familiarise with some stakeholders who have come on board the project.
Following her appointment last month, many corporates have expressed willingness to work with her in achieving her charity and marketing roles.
While in Kariba, Hilary will take time to also enjoy some leisure activities offered in Kariba, courtesy of the tour operators and other businesses.
She will also take time to tour some community projects and making some donations to the needy.
The face of Kariba is an organisation formed in 2014 to market Kariba as a Tourism and Investment destination.
The appointment of Hilary has also allowed the outside world to appreciate what Kariba has to offer and this pending trip would be the icing on the cake as she will get to appraise her multitudes of fans through her social media handles about the happenings in the town.
Our reporter said the organisation’s Founder Alois Chimbangu said they will use the visit to ensure Hillary and Kariba get the best possible coverage.
The trip will be live on the Face of Kariba pages and other supporting media platforms like Zim Celebs, attracting thousands of followers.
Kariba has the potential to be one of the key economic hubs in the country and efforts by the Face of Kariba team are meant to ensure this becomes a reality in the shortest possible time.
